Remembrance Sunday 2023

The customary observance of Remembrance will take place on Sunday 12 November 2023.

Parade and Service

Ex-service, regular, reserve, pre-service units and representatives of local organisations have been invited to participate in a march through Oakengates Town Centre. The Parade will step-off from The Salvation Army at 10.35am and march into Hartshill Park in advance of the outdoor service which will begin at 10:55am. 

Road Closures 

The parade route will be closed to all traffic from 10:30am to allow the parade to march through safely and will reopen at 10:45am (approximately). This means there will be disruption to transport approaching the parade route during those times.
