Oakengates

Building a Town that works for every neighbourhood with a focus on equity, opportunity, and inclusion.

.

Thirteen Councillors are elected every four years to represent their community. Whilst the Town Council has no statutory services, they have strived to undertake a bold plan to offer support for residents, community groups and businesses. The Wakes Community Centre and The Outpost Café is run for the benefit of local residents. Every project undertaken is for the benefit of residents, to improve, protect and celebrate the Town’s fantastic heritage.
