Oakengates Library Relocation to The Wakes

We’re pleased to announce that The Wakes is now the new temporary home for Oakengates Library while regeneration work on Oakengates Theatre takes place.
You’ll find The Wakes at Theatre Square (TF2 6EP) – just a stone’s throw from the library’s previous base in the theatre.
Opening hours at are Thursdays and Fridays (10am-4pm) and Saturdays (10am-2pm).
From the end of July, the opening hours will be Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (10am-4pm) and Saturdays (10am-2pm)
As part of the move, a council service phone, self-scan service machine, and two free-to-use computers have been transferred.
Library staff are also on hand to assist you with book and audio book rentals and can also source materials from other libraries across the borough.
