Oakengates Market

Oakengates Town Council is proud of the weekly Market takes place every Saturday between the hours of 9am – 4pm in Theatre Square and along Limes Walk, Oakengates. There are a selection of stalls selling well-priced products including fruit and vegetables, breads and cakes, eggs and pickles, tools and textiles.

The Town Council is working with the current stallholders to increase the popularity of the market, as well as increasing the number of stallholders.

Please support all our local traders by buying from the market and local shops when you can, as all sales benefit the local economy.

Fruit and vegetables

Bridget has traded for 25 years selling fruit and vegetables as a family business trading all over Telford. All of her produce is brought fresh the same day.

Jolly Good Eggs

Brian has been trading for 2 years, selling Shropshire free range eggs including duck eggs and a full range of sizes.

‘Local people selling local produce to local people’.

Jim’s Towels and Bedding

Jim Marsden is Shropshire based and has traded for 18 months selling a large range of towels, bedding, fancy goods and the latest crazes such as fidget spinners!

Steve is a local trader from Madeley and has traded for 27 years. He sells tools, hardware, garden ornaments such as solar lights and fancy goods.

All cakes, bread, scones and pastries are cooked freshly by the team at Forge.
