In accordance with the provisions of The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England and Wales) Regulations 2020 the Town Council will be holding remote meetings whilst government measures requiring social distancing are in force.  Our preferred method for meetings will be Microsoft ‘Teams’.  Details of the meeting id will be sent for each meeting.  Members of the public wishing to observe the meeting or participate in any Public Session should contact the Clerk, via townclerk@oakengates-tc.gov.uk for a password.

Members are hereby summoned to attend the next meeting of Oakengates Town Council being held online at 6pm on Tuesday 12th January 2021 via Teams (invite will be sent), for the transaction of the following business:


  1. Welcome by the Mayor

The Chairman will welcome all those present.

  1. Apologies for Absence & Reasons

Receive, consider and accept as appropriate, any apologies for absence in accordance with the terms of Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act 1972.

  1. Declarations of Interest

Receive any disclosures of Members’ pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests.

  1. Minutes of the last Meeting

Minutes of the Town Council meeting held on Tuesday 1st December 2020 be certified as a true record of the proceedings – attached
